"Graffito" This one took a while to get just right.  Any writing or design marked on a wall is a graffito. Technically the term applies to a design scratched through a layer of paint or plaster, but its meaning is extended to other markings. We have all seen graffiti produced with spray paint. Graffiti are sometimes considered a form of folk art.
Graffito reminds me of the ancient walls designed in Pompeii, yet the color combinations are of a more modern time.  I can see the texture of an ancient wall. The subject matter revolves around the abstraction of several figurative drawings, the shapes, colors textures, marks and lines all dancing around each other, yet frozen in time, on a wall.
